Position Overview

Heavy Duty Advertising is seeking a Full-Time, Contract-Based Remote Admin & Content Support Specialist to support our growing digital marketing agency. This is a long-term, non-freelance role for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who excels in English writing, content editing, and WordPress website management.

This position is a hybrid role combining administrative support, website content execution, and copy optimization. You will work closely with our marketing and operations teams to maintain high-quality content, accurate websites, and efficient internal systems.

This role requires exclusive full-time availability, strong accountability, and comfort working within structured processes and Canadian business hours overlap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content & Website Support

    • Audit website pages for clarity, grammar, tone, structure, and SEO alignment

    • Edit, rewrite, and optimize website pages, service pages, blogs, and landing pages

    • Implement content updates directly within WordPress

    • Format content properly using headings, internal links, images, and metadata

    • Perform basic on-page SEO updates (meta titles, meta descriptions, internal linking)

    • Review pages for errors, inconsistencies, broken links, or outdated content

    Administrative & Operational Support

    • Manage and update tasks within ClickUp or similar project management tools

    • Upload and organize content, images, and documents

    • Maintain organized file systems in Google Drive

    • Assist with internal reports, checklists, and documentation

    • Coordinate content and website updates across team members

    • Follow SOPs accurately and update documentation when processes change

Required Skills & Experience

  • Full-time availability (40 hours per week) with exclusive commitment

  • Very strong to excellent English writing and communication skills

  • Proven ability to edit and improve existing content for clarity and professionalism

  • Experience working inside WordPress websites

  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in execution

  • Ability to follow processes, checklists, and SOPs consistently

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Comfortable working remotely within a structured team environment

  • Ability to overlap with Canadian business hours

  • Reliable internet connection and professional work setup

Bonus / Asset Skills (Highly Valued)

  • On-page SEO or technical SEO experience

  • Familiarity with Google Search Console and/or Google Analytics

  • Experience working with digital marketing agencies

  • Understanding of content optimization for SEO and AI-driven search

  • Experience with ClickUp or similar project management platforms

  • Basic knowledge of GoHighLevel or other CRM systems

  • Familiarity with content workflows, QA processes, or website audits

Work Schedule (Contract-Based)

  • Full-time, remote contract position
  • Must be available during Edmonton, Alberta (Mountain Time) business hours
  • Required daily team meeting at 9:00 AM MT
  • Required daily end-of-day check-in at 4:00 PM MT
  • Consistent availability and professional responsiveness are mandatory

Exclusivity & Availability

This role is exclusive to K+E Marketing & Consulting and its affiliated brands. The successful contractor must remain focused on our projects during assigned working hours and maintain consistent availability.

Occasionally, urgent deadlines may require early mornings or limited weekend work. These instances are infrequent but expected as part of a professional agency environment.

Compensation (Independent Contractor)

  • Compensation is provided on a monthly retainer or hourly contract basis
  • Final compensation is determined by:
    • Proven experience
    • Technical skill level
    • Automation proficiency
    • Writing and SEO capability
  • Payment is issued via approved international payment platforms
  • Contractors are responsible for all local tax and statutory obligations

Data Security, NDA & IP

All contractors must:

  • Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
  • Adhere to strict client confidentiality and data protection policies
  • Agree that all work produced is “work-for-hire” and becomes the sole property of K+E Marketing & Consulting and its clients
  • Use secure passwords, two-factor authentication, and approved access tools

Time Tracking & Accountability

  • Daily task tracking is required inside our project management system
  • Weekly performance reviews and productivity reporting
  • Clear KPIs tied to:
    • Content output
    • SEO execution
    • Automation delivery
  • Task completion accuracy
